4 Iconic Moments To Have In Your 20's

Falling In Love

It's the big one, but not always the most important. Falling in love is necessary when it comes to growing up, but so is falling out of love. To experience this in your 20's is lucky, but also essential in order to take on the real world.

Going Abroad Without Family

Being in charge of your own things, flying on your own, and being in a foreign country without family can be terrifying. I did it my senior year of high school with a large group of girls from school. I had an amazing time, but I do have to admit, I love traveling with my family.

Moving Away From Home

For me, moving away from home was moving to college. Granted, I was only an hour and a half away from home, but to me, it felt like a whole new world. For the first time ever my parents weren't in the next room over, so I had to be on top of my game. I have to admit though, I am constantly calling them with questions.

Getting That "Big" First Job

For me, my "big" job was an internship at a startup company. We meet virtually three days a week, sometimes multiple times a day. For me, this was all new, being in a business environment with all older and professional people. This taught me several things and I have had to adjust. With all that said and done, I love the job, and believe it is necessary for everyone in their 20's to get a "big" job and learn from the experience.
