Belgium Chocolate and Waffles, Is It Really Worth The Hype?

Last Summer, I had the opportunity to visit Brussels, Belgium. As a lover of anything chocolate, and a huge fan of Belgium waffles, I was BEYOND excited.

When I arrived and started visiting major tourist attractions, there were chocolate stores and waffle stands everywhere I turned.

So, is Belgium chocolate and waffles really worth all the excitement> Or is it something used to bring in tourists and make money?

I bought and tried a Belgium waffle with Nutella and strawberries pictured below.

So what did I think? Definitely worth the hype. Maybe it's because I'm a fan of waffles in general, but I truly enjoyed my "Belgium waffle" in Belgium.

When it came to tasting chocolate, I had more than enough choices. The obvious chocolate company from Belgium is Godiva, and it is easily one of my favorites.

I loved their assortment of chocolate, but my favorite thing is their cosmetics that contain chocolate. I bought myself a dark chocolate face mask and not only does it brighten my skin, but also smells amazing!

Overall, my trip to Belgium was a great success and I walked away with a very happy belly!
