My Favorite Quotes From Self-Help Books

I've recently really got into reading self-help books to try and better my way of living. I've read a handful, but so far there have been two that have greatly impacted me and the way I approach my life and mental health.


Calm The Fuck Down by Sarah Knight

"There is a reason for your anxiety, a what if behind your worry. And if you can name it, you'll be in a much better position to calm the fuck down and deal with it".


"Take one step, no matter how small, toward acknowledging your problem"


"One of the things you can control right away is your emotional response".

Be realistic. Be honest with yourself. And be ready to walk away comfortably".


UnFuck Yourself. Get out of your head and into your life by Gary Bishop

"Create the reality you want to live in by beginning the process of having the kind of conversations that actually shape that reality".


"You have to uncover and realize the ways in which you have limited yourself".


"Get connected to your reality, your life, instead of your emotionally soaked self talk narrative like your life".


"Our minds naturally play tricks on us, twisting and distorting our thoughts in ways that are not always rational".


"It's only through your actions that your thoughts actually become your life. Until then, they are only your thoughts".


These quotes genuinely made me stop and evaluate my life and the way I approach it. If you guys are ever looking for a good read, I highly recommend those two books!
