Spring Break

This past week I had the pleasure of going on vacation for spring break. The plot twist? Instead of going with my friends or roommates, I went with my dad! You don’t hear me complaining about it though, in fact, I was excited to go away just my dad and I. We stayed at an all inclusive resort called Irberostar, and I have to say I was blown away by the service.

They offered different activities daily, which my father and I took advantage of. One morning the two of us went rifle shooting at the resort. The next day the two of us went and had the opportunity to shoot a bow and arrow. Turns out, I’m a better shot with a bow and arrow than with a rifle! On the third day I convinced my dad to take me horseback riding (something I LOVE to do when I am on vacation) and it was such an amazing experience.

I loved the vacation overall. I was able to finally take a breath and a break from my school work. I also was able to take a break applying to internships, a process that has not been going the greatest for me. All that laying around and doing nothing resulted in me getting sunburnt but you don’t hear me complaining, because eventually the burn will turn into a nice tan!

The moment I got back from the trip I was ready to turn around and go back. Wouldn’t it be nice to just lay on a beach and avoid the problems surrounding you?
