Summer Recap Songs

Personally, I think in terms of THE "Song of the Summer", artists really dropped the ball this year. Don't get me wrong, there were some good songs released this summer, but not GREAT. Not the kind of songs you play through the entirety of the summer. The kind where you can play it in your car with the windows down by yourself, or with friends singing along at the top of their lungs. The kind of song you can play while lounging by the pool or the beach, but you can also dance to in a club or party with friends. I personally feel like that song wasn't really released. If I'm wrong of course, please tell me.
