Wedding Season- Guest Attire

Wedding season is in full swing which means many of us are staring into our closets saying, "I have nothing to wear". So how do you find the perfect outfit to attend a wedding? There are a couple of things to consider.

Consider The Dress Code

Black tie: floor length gowns, black ties, tuxedos.

Formal: floor length gowns, tuxedos optional, black suits acceptable.

Semi-Formal: below the knee dresses, dress shirts, slacks.

Casual: sundresses, collared shirts, khakis.

Consider The Location

What you wear to a beach wedding is different than what you wear at a ritzy hotel.

Check The Weather

Check the forecast before you leave the house. Be prepared for rain, snow, or a chilly night.

Don't Go Too Bold

Animal prints, sequins, and over-the-top designs are fun for a night out, but not the right choice for a wedding. It's okay to look good, but you don't want to be the center of attention at someone else's wedding.

Wear Comfortable Shoes

Animal prints, sequins, and over-the-top designs are fun for a night out, but not the right choice for a wedding. It's okay to look good, but to you don't want to be the center of attention at someone else's wedding. Worse comes to worse you can bring flats or sandals to change into later on in the night.
