10 Ways To Motivate Yourself

These days I find it hard to find the motivation to get out of bed, attend class, do my work, and just overall be productive (and I'm sure I'm not the only one). Determined to turn things around for myself, I tried out different ways to motivate myself to be more productive during my week. These 10 tricks helped me, and I hope they help you!


  1. Make a to-do list, try to do harder, or more time consuming things, earlier in the day.

  2. Have a reward system so you have something to look forward to.

  3. Eat right and treat your body well- it will be easier to accomplish things with energy!

  4. Encourage others- soon it will be easy to encourage yourself to do things.

  5. Remind yourself that it's okay to fail, its a learning process!

  6. Remind yourself why you are working toward this.

  7. Play music that gives you energy!

  8. Just start, and let the motivation come to you.

  9. Set alarms for when things should be done!
