My Favorite Christmas Decorations

Christmas is easily one of my favorite holidays. There is something about the snow, gathering of friends and family, and exchange of gifts, that truly make me feel blessed and grateful for the life I have. With that said, holiday decorations also spark a little joy for me, and I wanted to share with you some of my favorites!

1. The star on top of the tree. Ever since I was little my parents would switch between an Angel or a star at the top of the tree. Personally, I like having a beautiful gold or silver star at the top of my tree.

2. Nutcrackers. At my house, we have the nutcrackers standing guard at the front door, protecting everyone inside.

3. Artificial Christmas Tree. I know a lot of families prefer going out together and picking out or cutting down a tree to place in their house, but my family and I prefer an artificial one. In fact, we have had the same one since I was born!

4. Stockings. But personalized! My family members have initials or different stuffed animals that they like on theirs. On my stocking (which is pink) I have a baby picture of me.

5. Snowflake Window Decals. So it is always snowing and a Winter Wonderland!

6. Pre Lit Door Wreaths. So the home looks welcoming and cozy compared to the harsh winter.

7. Christmas Tree Skirt. So the tree does not feel naked ;)

8. Flameless Candles. During the holidays it is very common for house fires to occur. Flameless candles (battery operated) are an easy way to avoid that!

9. Classic White Twinkly Lights. Personally I prefer white lights over the rainbow colored lights. I think white twinkly lights make the room feel more cozy and "magical".

10. Outdoor Decorations. But not the inflatable kind! Personally, I prefer the wire and light classics of the snowman, reindeer, and presents.
