Comments: This was a pretty good book that gave a lot of background on the Hunger Games and the Snow family. Personally, I read this after reading the Hunger Games and enjoyed it in this order. If you're a fan of the Hunger Games series, I recommend the read!

Comments: This was a beautiful story that gave me chills and moved me to tears.

Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
About the Book: The story centers on Eleanor Oliphant, a social misfit with a traumatic past who becomes enamored with a singer, whom she believes she is destined to be with.

Comments: I found the story to be interesting and beautiful.

Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter
About the Book: A family haunted by the sudden disappearance and presumed murder of their eldest daughter Julia. Almost 20 years later, the Carrol family remains fractured by the emotional fallout, each member using different strategies to cope with grief. Upon the death of husband Paul, the family is dragged back into the spotlight, with new information that situates Paul at the center of Julia's disappearance.

Comments: I enjoyed the book but I felt like it took a while to get to the climax of the story. I felt like I was waiting and waiting for something to happen. When it did? Boy oh boy did my jaw drop! Great story, but like I said, kinda long.
