My Love for the Drive-In Movie Theater

My two best friends and I started making the drive-in a tradition our senior year of high school. It was right after graduating, and the impending doom that is college was approaching.

Desperate to spend as much time together as possible, the drive in was brought up. Because I have a love for all things vintage/classic, I was excited for this new activity.

The three of us always eagerly prepare. Meg supplies her car, Paige brings the snacks, and I bring the blankets and pillows. We make a fifty minute drive filled with music and laughter.

When we arrive we push down the seats, lay out the blankets and snacks, and we enjoy the movie!

Personally, I love sitting in a car with my friends, watching a movie laughing, and talking. Because everyone is in their own car, privacy is no issue (and you can always find us in our pj's)

During the summer, we try and go to the drive-in at least once a week, although that usually doesn't happen though because we have to work :(. I miss those warm, breezy, summer nights where we would adventure and do something most people have forgotten about. If there is a drive-in movie theater near you, I recommend going!
