After dying my hair blonde it’s safe to say it was seriously struggling. Not only did my curls turn into shapeless frizz, my hair was also dry and brittle and all around not in good shape. Eventually, I found the right routine and products to help save my hair!
As usual, I wash my hair every four to five days. Because I now had blonde hair, it was important to introduce purple shampoo and conditioner. My secret however, is that I did not use the purple shampoo and conditioner during every wash. Instead I would switch between that and the Kerastase brand shampoo and conditioner.
After washing my hair, I would put coconut oil, and a coconut leave in conditioner in my hair before wrapping it in a towel. After 5 minutes I take my hair out and let it naturally air dry.
If I have somewhere to be and want to style my hair, I ONLY blow dry. I was told under NO CIRCUMSTANCES do I use a hair straightener or curler, it is not safe for blonde hair.
Because of these products, and because I staid away from a curler and straightener, I was able to bring my curls back to life. Unfortunately, the frizz is still there, but that comes with the curly hair territory.
Of course though because I am unable to use one product forever, I already have some ready on standby for when I am done with the Kerastase products. If they are any good, there will definitely be another update!
