As a social media intern at the start-up company Salusion, I was tasked with identifying any problems Salusion had when it came to marketing/social media, and make any recommendations at the end of my internship.


Salusion Inc. , a company that started in January, 2020, was established by a group of individuals who spent decades creating financial products and building technology platforms for some of the most sophisticated Wall Street trading desks. The inspiration for Salusion came from the need to address one of the most pressing financial issues faced by a consumer today.


The goal at Salusion is to build a better Health Savings Account, one that is based on exactly what the consumer needs by giving them more power and options to manage their medical finances. The target market is not only the employer, but the consumer as well.


Although creating multiple social media accounts across different platforms, the overall analysis was disappointing; Salusion was not engaging enough people. In turn, not enough people w

























However, there is one option that Salusion has not considered, paying for advertisement.

The social media platforms Salusion already has, Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin, all allow the opportunity for companies to invest in low cost marketing. It is a cheap, yet effective way to get Salusion’s name on other people’s phones, as well as catch people’s eyes without having to spend hundreds of dollars on commercials that people walk away from.
